The Orchards
Located
on Hobart Street, just off Main Street, in Southington, Connecticut,
The Orchards provides easy access to shopping, medical services
and other services offered in downtown Southington. Each resident
enjoys the privacy of their own studio, one or two bedroom
apartment with all the benefits of a full service community.
The community offers seniors and their families a choice of
programs tailored to suit the needs of each individual. The
independent living program is planned with the active senior
in mind. The Orchards at Southington offers a service-rich
environment which allows seniors the freedom to do the things
they enjoy most without all the worry of upkeep, security,
or unexpected financial burdens of owning their own home.
In addition, The Orchards offers residents and their families
peace of mind in knowing that assisted living is available
within the community should the need arise. The assisted living
program is designed to promote the independence and dignity
of seniors by providing assistance with activities of daily
living such as bathing, dressing, ambulating, and medication
reminders, in a residential setting.

Owned and operated by Central Connecticut Senior Health Services,
Inc., The Orchards at Southington represents The Hospital of Central
Connecticut at Bradley Memorial and New Britain General and the
Southington Care Center's continued commitment to providing a
full continuum of care to meet the needs of seniors and their
families in the area.
Development/Management
The Orchards at Southington was developed by National Development
of New England. Now open, the community is managed by Southington
Care Center.

Cost
of Living Comparison
At The Orchards at Southington, there are no large entrance fees
or hidden costs. One monthly fee covers the cost of your apartment,
utilities (except phone and cable television), use of the community
amenities and services. Additional services are available for
a fee. Short-term stays are charged on a daily rate basis.
