Orchards at Southington and Mulberry Gardens of Southington Joint
Medical Advisory Committee
This Advisory Committee, led by Dr. Craig Bogdanski, is a group of
highly regarded physicians and professionals dedicated to meeting
the needs of seniors across the spectrum of care. Members include
representatives from The Orchards at Southington, Mulberry Gardens
of Southington and the Southington Care Center as well as the following
physicians:

Glaser
The Medical Advisory
Committee's purpose includes the following:
1. To positively
influence the philosophy, operations, and culture of the assisted
living communities served in a way that enhances maximum independence
and quality of life for the communities' seniors by means of medical
care, wellness and preventive services.
2. To explore opportunities
to develop innovative approaches for improving and enhancing the
quality of life for elders in need of a supportive and caring lifestyle
and environment, specifically addressing issues such as:
- Memory-Impaired
and/or Alzheimer’s and Related Disorders
- Preventive
and Wellness Services
- Holistic
Care and Alternative Modalities in Combination with
- Traditional
Medicine Approaches
- End
of Life Care
3. To access resources
available through grants and foundations that will allow the Committee’s
efforts toward meeting these objectives to be met in the most effective
way possible.
In addition
to establishing a work plan for reaching its stated goals, the Committee
reviews issues and concerns related to maximizing the quality of
care and lifestyle at The Orchards at Southington and Mulberry Gardens
of Southington.
